Spreading knowledge and improving awareness about the importance and ways of coexisting with large carnivores (educational activities and materials)

The second living lab was held in-person on 27 May 2026 at Rakov Škocjan in Slovenia. During the workshop, participants explored existing good practices in education and awareness-raising about large carnivores (skull replicas, footprints, education experience sharing) and co-created ideas for new educational content and activities. The workshop took place in a hunting club’s house surrounded by a typical Dinaric landscape and forest, in a relaxed atmosphere, with active participation from both researchers and living lab participants.
